Nike Makes Executive Moves

Nike Inc. said late Monday it was shifting its top executives in China and North America.

Craig Cheek, who had been VP and GM of the North America region, has been named VP and GM of greater China. In his new role, Cheek, who replaces Willem Haitink, will report to Gary DeStefano, president of global operations for Nike.

In a related move, Haitink will become VP and GM of Converse’s European, Middle East and Africa businesses. He will report to Nick Stowe, SVP of Converse International.

Finally, Elliot Hill will replace Cheek in North America. Most recently VP of global retail, Hill will also report to DeStefano.
