DSW Inc. today reported it is still seeing an uptick in revenue.
The branded footwear retailer said net sales for the second quarter ended July 31 increased 12 percent to $415.1 million, from $369.5 million in the same quarter a year ago.
Same-store sales for the period also increased 12 percent, versus a decrease of 2.9 percent last year.
For the first half of the year, revenue is up 15 percent from the same period a year ago, at $864.7 million, and same-store sales increased 14 percent.
The Columbus, Ohio-based company also upped its forecast for fiscal 2010. It now estimates an annual comparable-store sales increase of roughly 7 percent to 9 percent, and earnings per share of $1.80 to $1.95.
Fiscal 2009 annual diluted EPS were $1.23.
