Two Ten to Manage AAFA Scholarship

Nonprofit Two Ten Footwear Foundation announced plans to take over all marketing and fundraising for the American Apparel & Footwear Association’s scholarship program.

AAFA’s program, known as the American Apparel Education Foundation, promotes higher learning in all fields of the industry, including product development, finance, marketing and technology.

“With so many footwear companies crossing over to apparel and vice versa, this was a natural progression,” said Two Ten President Peggy Kim Meill. “Two Ten has long managed its own private scholarship programs and will incorporate the AAEF into the existing infrastructure and with no impact on the bottom line.”

The organizations said that together they will be able to strengthen support and awareness of the scholarships and thereby better serve the industry as a whole.
