Green Day bassist Mike Dirnt will donate all the proceeds from his 45 RPM shoe, created in collaboration with Macbeth Footwear’s Studio Project, to Soles4Soles.
The black-and-gold vegan shoes are available at Journeys stores worldwide. They debuted in June, just after Green Day released its recent album “21st Century Breakdown.”
“We are so excited to be a part of this incredible promotion,” Wayne Elsey, founder and CEO of Soles4Souls, said in a statement. “We are very grateful for Mike Dirnt’s generosity and encourage everyone to check out [his] awesome new shoes.”
Macbeth Footwear released another Studio Project collaboration with the group Tegan & Sara earlier this year.
