NEW YORK — Wolverine World Wide Inc. on Monday named Michael McBreen president of the firm’s global operations group.
In his new role, McBreen will be responsible for all supply chain matters for Rockford, Mich.-based Wolverine, including sourcing, manufacturing, distribution and logistics. He will report directly to Blake Krueger, CEO and president of Wolverine.
McBreen was most recently VP of supply chain and logistics for Furniture Brands International Inc. He previously spent many years at Beaverton, Ore.-based Nike Inc., where he served as director of global supply chain operations and director of global apparel operations, among other positions.
At Nike, he was responsible for integrating the supply chain operations for acquisitions including Bauer Nike Hockey, Cole Haan and Hurley.
