LaCrosse Gets $3M Order from USMC

NEW YORK — Work and outdoor footwear provider LaCrosse Footwear Inc. announced Tuesday that its Danner subsidiary received a $3 million delivery order from the U.S. Marine Corps.

This is the largest order since the Mountain Cold Weather Boot contract was awarded by the USMC in 2006. Danner will provide 19,000 pairs of Mountain Cold Weather Boots through several shipments in the second half of the year.

“Danner is known for building exceptional footwear for more than 75 years,” said Joseph Schneider, president and CEO of LaCrosse Footwear. “The Marines depend on us to deliver quality footwear, outstanding customer service and on-time delivery. We’re proud to support the dedicated men and women in uniform with premium performance footwear.”

Danner’s performance footwear is built to meet the demands and specific requirements for multiple branches of the Armed Forces.
