The Mood: Reworked military influences and a George Tooker-inspired color palette (think neutrals like blush tones, quartz, hunter green, white, black). Gender fluidity prevailed with men’s and women’s looks mixed in throughout the show.
The Shoes: Leather riding boots had a new feel in pale pink and stark white, especially when paired with monochromatic silk looks. The styles were a bit retro-looking, but felt new for the brand. Pointy ankle boots were done in black or a cheetah print. Minimal black and white sneakers lent a sportier attitude.
The Review: Continuing its darker color scheme from spring, the tonality of the collection still lent a fresh feel to the typically more feminine collection. Though its shoes are never exactly making waves, should that be a bad thing? The Tibi girl is understated and never trying too hard — so why should the shoes?
