It may be hard to believe, but Twitter is in fact turning 10 today.

As one of the first platforms to really give an up-close, real-time experience for fashion, designers and fashion insiders are certainly celebrating today. We rounded up a few designers who are definitely worth adding to your Follow list, if you haven’t done so already.

Alice + Olivia

From the occasional voice of designer Stacey Bendet, the Twitter account is a diverse look at the Alice + Olivia world and New York, where Bendet lives.

Victoria Beckham

Beckham is one of the fashion designers who has stayed true to Twitter over the years, posting images of her family, travels and looks at her collection more often on this platform than any other.

 Kenneth Cole

Cole isn’t a designer who’s afraid to take a position on Twitter, and he definitely does so. Also visit for some standout shots from amfAR fundraisers and his global travels.

Prabal Gurung

Gurung is more than just fashion on his Twitter feed. He focuses on news and social issues, as well as sharing backstage images of his design process.

Marc Jacobs

Jacobs joined Instagram last year, but already he’s a Twitter veteran, offering musings on fashion and shots of his legendary fashion shows.

Betsey Johnson

From family shots to food snaps, Johnson’s Twitter feed is as eclectic and full of life as you imagine the 73-year-old designer.

 Blake Mycoskie

As the founder of the socially conscious brand Tom’s, Mycoskie is a unique source of news and opinion, also providing closer looks at his label and family.

 Jeremy Scott

With so many designers turning only to Instagram,  Scott is still going strong with a healthy mix of links to product, Instagrams and shoutouts to his collaborators.

 Christian Siriano

Siriano’s beautiful sketches and behind-the-scenes look at fashion will spark some serious creativity — or shoe lust.

Kanye West

Sure, West is technically a musician, but the Yeezy hype just can’t be denied. Around showtime, look for behind-the-scenes shots of the new collections and during the off-season, look for West’s thoughts on just about everything else.
