Last month, the music producer partnered with online retailer Zappos Inc. to kick off the Las Vegas-based company’s new effort to deliver merchandise to customers on the day it was ordered. When Zappos released the news, it was also revealed that Khaled would be surprising customers in six cities as he currently tours the country as the opening act for Beyoncé’s The Formation World Tour.
Khaled, who has became famous for his “key to success” Snapchat videos, documented Monday’s delivery on the photo-sharing app.
Footwear News caught up with Khaled at his recent appearance at Stadium Goods in New York City to talk Snapchat.
“It officially connected me with my fans worldwide. They love my music and all that, but the most important thing is that they got to know me personally,” he said. “That’s what it’s about, us knowing each other and us inspiring each other and us winning together.”
