This week, the brand has been showing a short teaser video on social media showing only Hadid’s back as she stands in what appears to be a boxing ring, while a wall fan artfully blows wisps of her hair.
The video, which is accompanied by the hashtag #DoItRight, was directed by Franco and appears to be a continuation of Weitzman’s high-kicking fall ad campaign, fronted by Hadid.
The full #DoItRight short film is set to debut on Oct. 25 — the same day that Weitzman and Hadid will launch their first joint design project.
As FN previously reported, the two teamed up to create a special limited-edition boot style. So far, the brand has been tight-lipped about specifics. But fans itching to get their hands on the style can sign up on Weitzman’s website for early access.
Hadid is no stranger to design collaborations. Her Tommy x Gigi collection with Tommy Hilfiger launched to much fanfare at New York Fashion Week and is on sale now at major retailers including Macy’s and Amazon.
And more recently, the supermodel was named the face of Reebok’s “#PerfectNever” self-betterment movement campaign, where she will work to challenge women to express themselves to the fullest.
