Nike Leads This Weekend’s Sneaker Releases

Everything from basketball shoes to running silhouettes, skate shoes and more are hitting stores this weekend from brands such as Nike, Jordan Brand, Under Armour, Puma, New Balance and Adidas. Check out what you could add to your collection Friday and Saturday.

Under Armour Curry Two Low “Bay Area” Pack

Under Armour’s signature shoe for Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry, the Curry Two, will be released in two low iterations on Friday, part of the “Bay Area” pack. The shoes, featuring colorways reminiscent of the uniforms of baseball’s Oakland A’s and San Francisco Giants, retail for $120 each.

Adidas D Lillard 2 “Fool’s Gold”

The signature shoe for Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard arrives Friday in a black-and-gold colorway inspired by those who traveled west during the California Gold Rush in the mid-1800s. The shoe will retail for $105.

New Balance Fresh Foam Zante v2 and Fresh Foam 1080 “Boston”

The Boston-based brand has two pairs of sneakers releasing Friday dedicated to the upcoming Boston Marathon, the Fresh Foam Zante v2 and Fresh Foam 1080. The shoes will retail for $115 and $165, respectively.

Puma Fierce

The trainer worn by Kylie Jenner in the brand’s latest ad campaign will hit stores on Friday in multiple colorways. The Puma Fierce shoe will retail for $90.

Nike SB Bruin Hyperfeel

The shoe, originally released as a basketball silhouette in 1972, features a clean look with a functional herringbone outsole that skateboarders adopted as a shoe of their own. It now features the brand’s Hyperfeel technology for enhanced board-feel and impact protection. The Nike SB Bruin Hyperfeel arrives Friday and retails for $90.

Air Jordan 12 Retro “Wings”

The celebrated Jordan retro silhouette features a black-and-white color palette, but boasts gold wings on the black portion after being wiped, agitated or rubbed. The Air Jordan 12 Retro “Wings” arrives Saturday and will retail for $225.

Air Jordan 12 Retro “French Blue”

The Air Jordan 12 Retro “French Blue,” first released in 2005, is identical to its original release, according to Nike. The men’s shoe will retail for $190, but will also come in kids sizes including grade school ($140), preschool ($80) and toddler ($60). It also will be released in an infant gift pack for $50.

Air Jordan 2 Retro Low “Gym Red”

The “Gym Red” iteration arrives on Saturday, a day jam-packed with Air Jordan retro releases, and will retail for $160. The latest iteration of the Air Jordan 2 Retro Low is is entirely red with hyper turquoise insoles.

Nike SB Dunk High Premium “Waffle”

The most delicious release of the weekend is the Nike SB Dunk High Premium “Waffle,” which arrives in stores on Saturday. The shoe boasts a waffle woven fabric on the upper and Swoosh branding that resembles syrup dripping down a stack of waffles. The shoe will retail for $110.
