New Balance is renowned for its Made in USA sneakers, but its next collab has the Boston-based label teaming up with our neighbors from the north.
Vancouver, British Columbia-based athletic apparel brand Reigning Champ is the latest label to team up with New Balance, choosing to use its acclaimed 530 silhouette for its “Gym Pack” collection. The line, according to New Balance, was inspired by classic leather gym gear and reflects the styles of an era of sport when “bags were made of leather, benches were wood, and everything was built to last.”

The “Gym Pack” features two reimagined iterations of the 530 — a gray upper with a white midsole, and a black upper with a white midsole. The shoes are executed in monochromatic suede with perforated panels, and boasts suede “N” branding, an embroidered NB logo on the tongue and sheepskin lining.

In addition to the shoes, the collection will also feature gym bags.
The New Balance x Reigning Champ “Gym Pack” arrives in Reigning Champ’s flagship in Vancouver, reigningchamp.com, and retailers worldwide on Sept. 3. The shoes will retail for $140.
