While she didn’t exactly address it directly, Kardashian posted a photo on Twitter of a spiritual book, captioning it with a praying hands emoji. It seems that some of the phrases such as “Remember that joy is not dependent on your circumstances,” could relate to Kardashian West’s situation. Kardashian was in Paris at the time of the robbery, but was out with sister Kendall Jenner when it occurred.
Kardashian West was reportedly robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room while she was in France for Paris Fashion Week. Masked and armed robbers apparently stole nearly $10 million in jewelry from the reality TV star. She has still not publicly addressed the incident, but she is back in New York with family.
Caitlyn Jenner, Kardashian West’s ex-stepfather, is the only family member to have spoken out directly on the subject, posting a message on Instagram.
Kardashian West’s close friend Jonathan Cheban paid a visit to her apartment in New York earlier this week. He was spotted bringing the star a basket of goodies, and when the Daily Mail asked about Kardashian West, he said, “She’s not doing so good.”
Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld, however, had some harsher words for Kardashian West. After the Chanel spring ’17 show this week, Lagerfeld said he thinks she is “too public” and that “you cannot display your wealth, then be surprised that some people want to share it.”
Even presidential candidate Hillary Clinton weighed in on the matter during an interview with “Extra,” telling the show she “felt really bad for her.”
