With the 2016 Rio Olympics only a few weeks away, Melissa Shoes has released a Rio de Janeiro-inspired collection. The Brazilian footwear brand created a peep-toe oxford flatform for summer ’16, which is offered in four colorways. Called the Melissa Wanna Be Rio, the shoes are available in fiery coral, cobalt, white and black.

The style retails for $180 and is available online and worldwide in stores at Melissa Galerias.

Fellow Brazilian brand Havaianas is hoping its hometown advantage will prove to be advantageous this year — even as controversy continues to swirl around this year’s games. The brand’s newest campaign, called “The Original. From Brazil Since 1962,” highlights the country’s culture, landscape and history. Havaianas has since released a USA-inspired collection that features six different styles.

Brooks Running Company has also taken advantage of the 2016 Summer Olympics this year by releasing its Victory Collection. The limited-edition style boasts three of the brand’s most celebrated performance shoes: the Launch 3, the Ghost 9 and the Glycerin 14 — all in patriotic colorways.
