The e-tailer will exclusively launch the brand two weeks before any other retailer. The launch includes four styles in various heel heights. They come in suede and vegetable-tanned leather and will be available in seven colorways.
The addition of shoes was a natural move following the success of Mansur Gavriel’s collection, according to founders Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel. “We look at both product lines as beautiful sculptural objects with clean details and perfect proportions. Net-a-Porter has been a strong partner since our first season, and we admire the curation and global reach,” the duo said.
For her part, Ida Petersson, senior buyer for shoes at Net-a-Porter, said, “We are huge fans of Mansur Gavriel, and we are honored that they have chosen us as their exclusive launch partner. The brand has resonated incredibly well with our customers since it launched on site in 2013, so when they approached us with the news that they were expanding into footwear, we couldn’t wait to get our hands on them. The collection is everything we have come to expect from their cool, simplistic and beautiful design aesthetic and firmly puts the mule back into the spotlight.”
