Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 show and album debut had no shortage of amazing moments. But aside from the celebrity appearances and memorable song lyrics, it’s of course our duty at Footwear News to take note of the footwear.
We know that the re-release of the black Yeezy Boost 350 is happening on Feb. 19, but West gave us a glimpse of what’s to come for his collaboration with Adidas.
The next iteration of the Yeezy Boost 350 features a large stripe across the outer side of the foot. We also spotted this last week in the background of one of the photos West shared during a fitting.

During the show, a lot of emphasis was placed on the new 1050 boots, an updated version of last year’s 950s. The new boots feature Gore-Tex for waterproofing and look like they’ll be offered in some new colorways. Adidas wrote on Instagram that they’re called 1050 Boosts, which means they feature the same Boost technology as the sneakers.
Models in the show also wore some other Adidas silhouettes, including the NMD and Tubular sneakers, and classic styles like Superstars and Stan Smiths.
West himself appeared to be wearing a boot/sneaker hybrid that could be an upcoming style he’ll release.
There were also some heels—although this wouldn’t be something West would work on with Adidas. There were booties and heels made of Perspex and acrylic in black and a range of colors. Kim Kardashian West also wore a pair of sandals made from the same materials.
