Stockholm-based sneaker brand Eytys has unveiled a new unisex sneaker. The new silhouette, called the Ace, is handmade in Portugal and draws influences from classic tennis court silhouettes.
The Ace is made of premium leather and features a cemented rubber sole. It comes in three colorways: all-black, all-white and dark navy.
If you’re looking to get your hands on the new style, it retails for $310 and is available on the brand’s e-commerce website, as well as at its Stockholm store and select retailers.
Eytys recently reopened its flagship in Stockholm on 22 Norrlandsgatan St. The 775-sq.-ft. store is now situated in a building that dates back to 1856.
“It was a natural choice for us, as it’s where all the cool streetwear and skate shops used to be when we were kids,” co-founder Max Schiller told Footwear News. “Our interest for sneakers and clothes was born on that same street some 20 years ago. Long before that, in the 1950s, my great-grandfather was a belt merchant on the same street.”
The brand was founded on offering unisex styles. Its thick-soled Mother style, inspired by vintage deck shoes, has become its signature.
