“Christian Louboutin’s nontraditional view of women manifests through each of his collections in myriad ways; this season, an autumn and winter 2016 sub-collection of archetypically masculine styles are no exception,” brand insiders said in a statement. “Taking inspiration from the transformative nature of the female psyche and embracing the undeniable sensuality of powerfully androgynous icons such as Marlene Dietrich, this season’s menswear inspired shoes are accentuated by master tailoring in a mix of traditional men’s textiles: flannel, wool and cashmere.”

Some of the silhouettes, such as ankle booties and oxfords, feature men’s textile touches, including flannel wool and cashmere. The styles were inherited from Louboutin Homme classics.
