The pop star stepped out Tuesday in New York rocking an outfit that had some untraditional layering techniques.
The singer teamed an oversized shirt and a short denim skirt together, tucking the shirt below the skirt’s hemline. Faux pas or not, the look worked.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the Fenty x Puma collaborator let fans know she’s a pro at making anything look good: “dat eazy,” she captioned an image of the ensemble.
Rihanna added a chic touch to the look with a pair of Balenciaga velvet and patent ankle boots. The bootie’s design incorporates a socklike velvet fabric on a patent leather pointed toe.
Featuring a mid-calf silhouette and a 4.5-inch heel, the shoes retail for $720 online.
The singer-designer accessorized with simple gold jewelry and a Louis Vuitton x Frank Gehry box bag.
It’s not the first time she’s pulled off the look. In the past, Rihanna has donned customized short skirts and let the fabric slip past the hem, too.
On Wednesday, Rihanna enjoyed an outing in New York City wearing short-shorts that she teamed with a T-shirt to show her support for Hillary Clinton ahead of the Democratic presidential nominee’s third and final presidential debate against Republic nominee Donald Trump scheduled for 9 p.m. ET from Las Vegas, airing live on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, C-SPAN, Fox, Fox News, MSNBC and PBS.
The entertainer completed the look with a pair of Timberland’s heritage 6-inch boots. The stompers are available for $190 online.
