Prince George, the son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, is celebrating his third birthday today. The tot has slowly started to attend more public outings with his royal family, giving us a better look at some of his favorite shoe brands.
In new photos released today by Kensington Palace, George wears one of his go-to pairs of Trotters Hampton Classics navy canvas shoes. He also recently wore them when he visited the Royal Air Tattoo show with his parents.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share four new photographs of Prince George to mark his third birthday. They were taken by photographer Matt Porteous at their home in Norfolk in mid-July. A spokesman for Kensington Palace said: "The Duke and Duchess hope that people will enjoy seeing these new photographs. They would like to thank everyone for all the lovely messages they have received as Prince George celebrates his third birthday."
In photos taken earlier this year in celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s 90th birthday, George wore Start-rite’s Jo navy leather buckled shoes.
@the_british_monarchy have just released this photograph of The Queen surrounded by her two youngest grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, to mark Her Majesty's 90th birthday. This is the first in a series of three official photographs. It was taken at Windsor Castle just after Easter by renowned portrait photographer Annie Leibovitz. #HappyBirthdayYourMajesty
In April, George was allowed to stay up past his bedtime to meet President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama when the two visited Kensington Palace. The prince wore striped pajamas, a monogrammed robe and Trotters Little Boston plane slippers, which are sold out online.
When George was a bit younger, his parents often dressed him in footwear by Early Days, particularly the brand’s Alex leather baby shoes. As he grew, he transitioned to the similar silhouette for kids who are learning to walk.
Although he mostly wears U.K. brands, last summer George opted for an American brand: Crocs. He wore a navy pair with white and red accents while at a polo match with his parents.
