Taking a cue from her daughters’ casual sneaker style, first lady Michelle Obama wore a pair of Converse sneakers for the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday. The event welcomed 35,000-plus guests to the South Lawn for games, stories and the 138th edition of the signature egg roll.

Meanwhile, younger daughter Sasha opted for the same pair of black calf hair slip-on sneakers she wore during the family’s historic trip to Cuba this month.

Mrs. Obama’s sneakers are no longer available online, but a similar pair retails for $190 on Converse.com. The casual look is a departure for the first lady, who has been wearing Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik and Stuart Weitzman heels for several events this month.
