First lady Michelle Obama appeared on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” on Sept. 20, and she talked about her last few months in the White House, family dinners, her Let Girls Learn initiative and even that cringe-worthy moment when Melania Trump lifted portions of her speech at the Republican National Convention in July.

With little time left in the White House, the first lady seems to be taking more risks with her fashion choices. On Sept. 13, she wore a bold, printed Gucci dress on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”; on Sept. 19, she sported a dress by Self Portrait, one of fashion’s favorite labels at the moment.

So for her appearance on “Colbert,” she opted for a surprisingly revealing cut-out, mock-neck top, ultra-wide-leg gray pants and a pair of Jimmy Choo Romy pumps. The 3.5-inch black patent leather pumps retail for $595.

While in New York, Obama also held an event called “Broadway Shines a Light on Girls’ Education” with the cast of “Beautiful: The Musical” to further push the Let Girls Learn initiative.
