The singer has been everywhere recently, having just released her latest album, “Joanne,” on Friday. Over the weekend, she was the musical guest on “Saturday Night Live,” where she wore Marc Jacobs’ towering rainbow spring ’17 platform boots. While those shoes are what Halloween-costume gold is made of, they’re not available just yet.
Luckily, Gaga is also a big fan of Jacobs’ fall ’16 platforms, which are available now. The buckled platform boots retail for $2,395 — so you’ll have to be quite sure you’ll wear the dramatic boots long after Halloween is over. If you want the sparkle without the platform, try Jacobs’ pink glitter pair.
For an appearance this week on Howard Stern’s radio show, Gaga tapped into the of-the-moment denim-shoe trend in a thigh-high pair by Privileged.
Gaga is also a fan of Pleaser Shoes’ 10-inch platform boots, which she wore to friend Brandon Maxwell’s spring ’17 runway show at New York Fashion Week. She wore a similar pair on the 2016 Met Gala red carpet.
When Gaga sang the National Anthem at the 2016 Super Bowl in February, she donned a pair of Gucci’s super-high platforms, complete with a feline head on the front. Pair there with a shimmery ensemble similar to hers and you’re good to go. (Plus, it’s an excuse to hop on the Gucci bandwagon.)
Despite her taste for head-turning footwear, Gaga does occasionally wear more practical pairs. Lately, we’ve seen her in Christian Louboutin pink pumps, Frye black boots and Brian Atwood’s Tribeca sandals.
