For the fifth time, Beyoncé opted for a Givenchy look on the Met Gala red carpet.
The singer and Ivy Park designer turned heads on the red carpet at Monday night’s Met Gala, which celebrated the Costume Institute’s exhibition “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology.”
Her Givenchy Haute Couture dress was created by the house’s designer Riccardo Tisci and was made of nude latex embroidered with pearls and hand-painted flowers. She topped off the look with beige latex platform sandals.
Bey wasn’t the only one who wore a Givenchy design — models Irina Shayk and Bella Hadid and singer The Weeknd all wore the label. Tisci attended the New York event with Madonna, who also wore Givenchy Haute Couture.
Beyoncé’s sister, Solange Knowles, wore a daring canary yellow David LaPort ensemble and Loewe clear sandals.
Beyoncé, who recently caused some major buzz with her “Lemonade” visual album that debuted April 23 on HBO, attended an after-party hosted by Balmain and its designer Olivier Rousteing.
She also wears a custom Givenchy bodysuit on her Formation tour, which kicked off last week.
