Rita Ora got her start crooning in a pub, but one of her latest gigs will see her in a more sobering venue — the Vatican.
While chatting on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday, the British songbird revealed that she’s due to sing for Pope Francis.
Admittedly, Ora is not very religious. “I’m more of a spiritual person,” she explained, adding that she was stunned to learn that the pontiff would be in the audience.
“I looked at the guest list and saw P-O-P-E. Pope!” she recalled. “I thought, ‘What do you wear to see the pope?’ ”
The Adidas ambassador certainly isn’t in short supply of chic shoes and outfits.
On the program, Ora rocked a black sequin and ostrich feather embroidered crop top and pants from the fall 2016 Michael Kors Collection that she teamed with a pair of black sandals that featured a metallic strap.
Earlier this month, the fashionista released her “Color Paint Pack” collection for Adidas, and throughout the summer, she made several appearances wearing trendy kicks from the sportswear brand and high-end footwear from Gucci and Vetements.
Chatting alongside the late-night host, the “Body on Me” singer said she would perform “What Child Is This?” for Pope Francis. The spiritual tune is a dramatic departure from what she used to belt out while entertaining local “drunkies” in her father’s bar in London.
“I’d have to sing ‘I’ve Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts,’ and then I’d have to clean afterwards,” she recalled.
