Brazilian shoe brand Rider Sandals has a new partner. The company signed a multiyear agreement with Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, Fla., and Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles as an official brand of the two theme parks.

As part of the agreement, Rider will have a retail presence and create customized products themed for the parks’ ad resorts. Rider will also get marketing and promotional rights for the areas.

The brand said the new partnership would help extend its products to new customers and expand its line to include exclusive shoes and product that features favorite Universal-owned characters.

“Traveling is one of the best ways for people of all ages to create lifelong memories,” said Angelo Daros, VP of Grendene USA. “We’re thrilled that Rider will now be a part of the memories made by Universal guests.”

Grendene USA is the parent company of the U.S. divisions of Rider, Ipanema, Zaxy and Grendha.
