Versace Opens In Chicago

After exiting the Windy City almost 15 years ago, Versace has returned to Chicago. The brand opened its boutique on the high-fashion Gold Coast neighborhood on Rush Street. The new 4,951-sq.-ft., two-story flagship will feature ready-to-wear, accessories and some home goods.

Lululemon Debuts New Design Lab

If you needed more convincing that athleisure wasn’t going anywhere, Lululemon debuted a new concept shop in Manhattan this week. The Lululemon Lab in New York’s Soho neighborhood will featured specially designed items for the store in limited runs. The store will focus less on athletic apparel, as it will emphasize performance and technology in other everyday pieces.

Fred Segal Santa Monica To Shutter This Week

After nearly 30 years, Fred Segal’s store in Santa Monica, Calif., is shuttering at the end of the week. The shop is closing to make way for a new development. The original Fred Segal store in Melrose Place will remain open.
