On Wednesday, Tim Coppens showed his spring ’16 men’s collection at the Skylight Clarkson Square in New York City.

Coppens’ 30-look collection featured black and white Vans sneakers with black and white cluster beading on the sides and heels. Coppens also included the beading on a gray, black, and orange sweatshirt. The beading is created from Swarovski crystal pearls in white, black, and neon orange. This is the first time Swarovski has been a part of Coppens’ collection.

In recent interviews with FN, Tom Kalenderian of Barneys New York and Damien Paul, head of menswear at Matchesfashion.com, both cited Coppens as a designer to watch at New York Fashion Week Men’s

Coppens founded his line just five years ago and received the 2014 CFDA Swarovski Award for Menswear in 2014. This year he was nominated for the CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year Award. Coppens is also part of the 2015 Swarovski Collective, which cultivates design innovation through sponsorships and through providing crystal resources.

Swarovski has also collaborated with Paul Andrew, Stuart Weitzman, Alejandro Ingelmo, and Minnetonka for Opening Ceremony. Aside from backing emerging talent, Swarovski has also been the favorite among celebrities as of late. In March, Chrissy Teigen wore custom Swarovski glass slippers. In December 2014, Swarovski revealed glass slippers for the new Cinderella movie.
