Fashion Week Buyer's Report: The Webster's
Pierre Hardy and Laure Heriard Dubreuil

Laure Heriard Dubreuil, founder and CEO of The Webster, sounds off on her top picks from Europe, the trend she loved (and one she didn’t) and her bright outlook for spring ’16.

Top Collections:

Louis Vuitton: “I loved the utilitarian platform creeper sandals as well slingback loafer and lace up brogues. It was a stellar collection for both ready-to-wear and accessories!”

‎Pierre Hardy: “I always appreciate his whimsical, artistic take on accessories and this season was no different- the “Shades” sandals were especially clever with PVC inserts in bold primary colors that felt like real life pop art came to life!”

Valentino: ‘There was great range of tribal inspired sandals that were so delicate and refined- absolutely perfect from morning to dressed-up evenings.”

Trend to Love: “Flats, there were so many incredibly chic flats on the runway!”

Trend to Leave: “While I do own sneakers, and actually packed a pair with me on this trip, I wasn’t as excited to see this trend still on the runway.”

Overall outlook: “It was a great season for shoes; there were strong varieties that not only looked look incredible chic and beautiful, but also comfortable and easy to incorporate into your existing wardrobe.”
