The state of Tennessee is going to be rockin’ this weekend as it hosts two major concert events: The CMA Music Festival in Nashville and Bonnaroo in Manchester, both of which started today and run through Sunday.
For the CMA event, spread out over 10 different venues, the lineup is country to the core and features appearances by dozens of chart-toppers, including Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan, Zac Brown Band and Brad Paisley.
Just thinking about all those rousing performances makes us want to kick up our heels — our Western boot heels, that is. And FN has scoured the market for some great women’s looks that represent the category’s best offerings.
From Ariat and Stetson, studs and fringe give a rock edge to classic short and tall boots. Meanwhile Lucchese, Dan Post and Laredo emphasize hand-tooled designs that add a colorful pop to classic pointed-toe silhouettes.
And they are indeed classics. While other shoe categories tend to ebb and flow with the whims of the fashion world, Western boot makers have stayed the course, remaining true to their decades-old heritage of American-made products.
