Vionic is ramping up its commitment to fitness. In January, the brand will introduce its ZenFitness30 method, which is designed to promote health and wellness from the ground up.

The regimen, a 30-minute workout created to energize mind, body and spirit, was developed by the brand’s Innovation Lab members, including integrative medical practitioner Dr. Jim Nicolai and celebrity fitness trainer Juliet Kaska, whose client list includes Kerry Washington, Karlie Kloss, Ali Larter and Pink.

The program can complement an existing fitness routine to lengthen and stretch muscles or be practiced on its own as a gentle way to embrace Vionic’s Walk, Move, Live mantra. It begins with Kaska leading active stretches designed to lengthen the body, develop the core and get the heart pumping.

Dr. Nicolai draws from an ancient Kundalini yoga technique for his breath-walking practice, emphasizing movement as a vehicle of mediation. Mastering control of one’s breathing is designed to help quiet the mind and limit distractions while keeping the body mobile to deepen the connection.

Vionic will feature a dedicated web portal on Vionicshoes.com with instructional videos and illustrations, along with a written overview of the mental and physical practice. In tandem, the brand’s spring 2016 collection of active footwear will be available on its web site.
