The small forward for the Sacramento Kings reminisces about his favorite kicks as a kid and current style icons.

Pairs Owned: 700

Brands: Balenciaga, Buscemi, Converse, Ferragamo, Jordan, Nike, Patrick Mohr and Saint Laurent, among others. “[Since] I’ve been blessed to have a Nike contract, most of my closet is Nike and Jordan. And I don’t ever want to be caught [wearing] dirty shoes, so I’ll have doubles and triples of some [styles].”

Shoe Organization: “I have a custom closet. Most are out of the boxes on display. Sometimes, a few get slipped under the bed.”

Best Shopping Spot: “Sole Control in Philadelphia is great. They have a good selection, and I can usually find my size 14 there. I’ll shop at Barney’s and Kith in New York – anywhere that can hook [me up] with an exclusive.”

Most Expensive Pair: “Air Yeezys for $1,500 online. The funny part was, the next week, I got a free pair [from Nike]. I wore them out when I first got them and [still] wear them every now and then. They’re real comfortable.”

Style Icons: “I like David Beckham, Kanye West and Big Sean. They’re casual but always look fresh. [During the] off-season, I go for jeans and a clean T-shirt. And my Jordan 1s or 3s go with everything – suits to sweats. I leave suits for special occasions. However, I have my own style and want everything to be authentic.”

Oldest Pair: “Jordan 13 Lows [from] high school. I can’t give those up even though I never wear them.”

First Athletics Shoe I Bought Myself: “Air Force 1s. My first paycheck from my first job went to buy [them]. Growing up [as I did], I dreamed of having any [type of] shoes. I’ve always been the most excited about the exclusive Nikes. Since I didn’t have a chance to get them growing up, now that I can, I do.”

On-Court Look: “I play in Nike Hyperfuses. I choose the [style], and Nike send me [shoes] in my team’s colors with different variations.”

Off-Court Style: “My go-to look is a Nike tech sweatsuit and some Air Huaraches.”

Footwear Essentials: “Comfort is really important. Around the house, I’ll wear a boat shoe, driver or something with a soft sole. Since my feet take a beating [during games], I want to be comfortable when I travel, [so I] wear flip-flops.”
