Ronaldo recently split with longtime girlfriend Irina Shayk, a spokesperson for the model confirmed this weekend, saying:
“We can confirm Irina Shayk has ended her relationship to Cristiano Ronaldo of five years.” The athlete and his girlfriend were pictured together earlier this month and shared a few snaps of their joint Christmas holiday before calling it quits. While Ronaldo has already been snapped with a new beauty, Spanish reporter Lucia Villalon (who posted a pic with the soccer player on her own Instagram account), FN is more persuaded by the athlete’s love of shoes.
A trip down Instagram surfaces Ronaldo’s longtime footwear fondness. Just last week, the Real Madrid player, who is sponsored by Nike, posted a pic on Instagram of him kissing a black-and-shimmering gold pair of Mercurials, with the caption: “My special #Mercurial for a night when we need to be at our best. @nikefootball“
Ronaldo debuted his own footwear collection, CR7, in July, which will be available at cr7footwear.com in February. The shoes, which are made in Portugal, bear the star’s initials. The footwear line is the latest Ronaldo bid — he also offers underwear — to outfit his fans.
Happy and proud to announce my newest range of products: Cristiano Ronaldo Footwear 100% made in Portugal. Next February you’ll be able to get your own pair.
