Frontman Adam Levine must have taken notes from the antics of actors Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, because “Sugar” was directed by “Wedding Crashers” director David Dobkin.
Brides, grooms and guests all had the surprise of a lifetime when Maroon 5 showed up at their weddings with an impromptu performances that resulted in shocked faces, screams and sheer excitement.
In the video, Levine and the rest of the gang are suited up, with guitars in hand, as they head out to crash a few weddings on Dec. 6. “We’re gonna drive across L.A. and hit every wedding we possibly can,” Levine says at the beginning of the video. “It’s going to be awesome.”
Levine said in a press release, “It was an out-of-body experience. I had no idea I would be so affected by the overwhelming reactions we received from the couples and guests. Being able to create an unforgettable experience for several people was the highlight of it all.”
Unforgettable experience is an understatement. What would you do if Maroon 5 crashed one of the happiest days of your life?
