Carrie Underwood swept the 2015 CMT Awards, taking home the awards for Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year for “Something in the Water,” as well as Collaborative Video of the Year with Miranda Lambert for “Somethin’ Bad.”
Underwood made her first public appearance on Wednesday night — since giving birth to a baby boy in February—wearing Jimmy Choo sandals paired with a Thomas Wylde dress.
“This is my first awards show since little Isaiah has been in the world. I’m sure he’s napping on the bus right now, but I should definitely say that he has already inspired me so much,” she said onstage while accepting the award for Female Video honors.
The three wins marked Underwood’s 13th awards, making her the most honored artist in CMT Music Awards history.
WOW! I seriously can’t believe tonight! Thank you, fans! I don’t deserve your amazingness, but I am forever grateful for it! Thank you @CMT
