The collaboration saw Boulala offer a custom take on the classic Eytys “Mother” low-top style, which he re-styled in an all-black embossed leather with furry lining.
It will retail for $235 and be released on November 27, available at Colette, Caliroots, and Eytys’ own store location and e-commerce website.
The brand was drawn to Boulala’s unconventional skater style.
“Ali has a great approach to style—a total clash of tailored and rock’n’roll that revolutionized the skate world, back when it was all about baggy,” said Eytys co-founder Max Schiller. “When creating his own pair of Eytys sneakers, he chose to mix elegant croc-embossed leather with sporty nylon mesh, a clash that perfectly reflects his style.”
Back in July, Eytys released its fall ’15 campaign imagery, which was shot on locals in Israel. The brand also debuted embroidered sneakers for the fall season, inspired by war rugs the founders found in Pakistan.
