Not only were the stars of the movie on hand, but plenty of buzzy names and faces stepped out to celebrate the first installment in the storied franchise in almost a decade.
Daisy Ridley hit a high note in a pair of Christian Louboutin Rivierina floral-print pumps and a sweet, feminine dress by Chloe. Ridley has been spotted in a variety of standout shoes while promoting the new movie and her character, Rey. She took to Instagram to share her excitement about her look: “I feel an incy bit like a princess tonight!”
John Boyega, who plays Finn, looked dapper in a burgundy-hued custom tuxedo by Versace, paired with a single black leather glove and black patent shoes.Adam Driver, who plays Kylo Ren, also looked the part in a black suit and tie and simple dress shoes.
Needless to say, some stars were in full fan mode on the red carpet last night, too. Joseph Gordon Levitt fully committed to his fandom on the red carpet — he was dressed as Yoda. Sofia Vergara wore her hair in Princess Leia-inspired buns and rocked a pair of Charlotte Olympia gold platforms.
Zendaya kept it daring in a long turtleneck sweater and sheer skirt over the top, pairing her look with silver peep-toe sandals.
Also on the red carpet: Elizabeth Banks, Jaime King and Sarah Highland.
The stars of the original trilogy of films — Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher — were also on hand. Fisher stepped out in a blue embroidered dress and blue suede booties.
