Chanel Celebrates Opening of Mademoiselle Privé Exhibit

When Karl Lagerfeld hosts a party, it’s always a star-studded affair. Last night, that was definitely the case, as Cara Delevingne, Julianne Moore and Lara Stone stepped out to celebrate the new Chanel Mademoiselle Privé exhibit at London’s Saatchi Gallery.

With such tastemakers on hand, the evening was quite the Chanel shoe and fashion moment, too. Lily Rose Depp wore a flouncy lavender cocktail dress and peep-toe heels, while Cara Delevingne opted for a black dress, accessorized with a choker.

Julianne Moore stayed true to Chanel’s heritage in a tweed dress and coat, with ankle boots to match.

Other names sighted in the crowd: Laura Bailey, Lara Stone, Rita Ora, Lily Collins and Lily Allen.

The exhibition focuses on the creative process and inspirations of the famous French fashion house. From images of Coco Chanel herself to garden installations by landscape designers Harry and David Rich and rose and jasmine scents to tell the house’s famous No. 5 perfume story, the exhibit taps all the senses.
