Bebe Launching Athleisure Shoe Line At Macy’s

Bebe announced yesterday that they are launching an athleisure footwear line under the Bebe Sport label in Macy’s available starting this month.

The line is designed with exclusive licensing partner ZiGi New York. The collection will start with four styles in August with Macy’s expanding the offering in October to five styles and in January will introduce logo sandals.

“We are thrilled to bring Bebe footwear to Macy’s stores nationwide as we build up our wholesale offerings and expand the presence of our brand in new and exciting ways,” says Bebe CEO Jim Wiggett. “We see tremendous wholesale opportunities for Bebe in North America and are delighted to be working with the ZiGi team to continue to develop trendy feminine designs that fit the lifestyle of the Bebe woman.”

Bebe currently offers shoes in their stores and online but styles are generally geared to complement much of the brand’s dressy club wear. The brand operates 164 retail stores, Bebe.com, and 36 outlet stores.

ZiGi New York President Andy Petersen expressed his excitement in working with Bebe. “We look fotward to building this partnership with bebe to provide customers with a trendy product offering that is unique to Bebe.”

The shoes will retail for $69-$89.
