Wolverine, Rockford, Mich., known for its work, outdoor and lifestyle footwear and apparel, is adding yet another category to the mix — flame-resistant apparel under the FireZerO by Wolverine label.

The collection provides certified protection from heat and arc flash hazards, according to industry safety standards.  Included in the collection are knit shirts, twill button down shirts, sweatshirts, jackets and pants. Most style are UL certified for NFPA 2112-2012. And, all garments protect against possible intermittent flame and thermal exposures.

The company is also committed to protecting workers and the environment by reducing levels of potentially toxic chemicals used in flame resistant fabrics.

Retailing from $70 to $230, the line will deliver in January through outdoor and work specialty stores.
