Nike in Boston
Nike has reopened its Boston flagship. The 200 Newbury St. store, covering 30,000 square feet on two floors, highlights Boston’s sports history with reclaimed elements from an area high school gymnasium and the 37 national championships won by Boston sports teams over the years. Nike’s Boston location will have run analysis and special programming such as the weekly Nike+ Run Club. “Boston is an important part of our heritage as a brand and we have been a proud partner of the local community for more than 47 years,” Dennis van Oossanen, VP of Nike’s North American direct-to-consumer division, said in a statement. “With the reopening of Nike Boston, we look forward to deepening our connection with Boston’s rich running and sports culture, and we aim to inspire and serve athletes of all levels.”
