Kenneth Cole is creating some major buzz again, this time with the world’s largest high-heeled shoe.

The designer teamed up with Jill Martin from “The Today Show” to make a style that measures a whopping 6 feet, 2 inches tall and 6 feet, 5 inches long.

The look, modeled after Cole’s Otto leather lug-sole bootie from fall ’14, was built by Izquierdo Studio, a prop and costume atelier. It took nearly 400 hours to create and required five and a half hides, as well as 3-D printing to craft the buckle and clasp.

Cole and Martin will unveil the shoe on air this morning with Kathie Lee and Hoda during the 10 a.m. hour of “Today.” At that time, they will announce it has officially broken the Guinness Record for the largest heel ever.

“The steps involved with creating a shoe are so underestimated, so when Jill called with this idea, I immediately jumped at the chance. My career as a designer has literally reached a new height, and as one might assume, breaking a Guinness World Record is no small feet,” said the pun-lovingCole.

Martin said breaking a world record had been on her bucket list. “I thought something shoe-related would be a perfect fit,” she said. “This has been a labor of love, and I could not have asked for a better teammate. Kenneth Cole is everything he prides himself to be: creative, quirky and extremely philanthropic.”

As part of the effort, the pair partnered with the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a charity that works closely with all groups of The Madison Square Garden Co., including the Knicks, Rangers, Liberty, MSG Entertainment and MSG Media.

Kenneth Cole Productions will donate $5 from the sale of every shoe purchased between 10 a.m today and 6 p.m. Friday on Kennethcole.com to the nonprofit.

The foundation works to fulfill the dreams of children in need. Four children from the group collaborated with Izquierdo Studios to bring Cole’s vision to life.

After its TV debut, the record-breaking shoe will be showcased at Lord & Taylor¹s Fifth Avenue flagship on its newly renovated shoe floor.
