Koolaburra is shuffling its executive ranks.
The Santa Barbara, Calif.-based brand announced the promotion of creative director and chief product officer Kris Zacharias to co-president and chief creative officer. The privately owned company also appointed industry veteran Bill Taylor to the position of co-president and COO.
“With our combined experience spanning more than 50 years, I look forward to building the brand with Bill for years to come,” Zacharias said via a written statement.
As part of a corporate restructuring heading into the spring ’14 wholesale season, Zacharias will have control over brand direction, including business development, marketing and all aspects of design and development.
Taylor, who previously has served as head of Sanita footwear and VP of sales and marketing at Birki’s LP, will oversee all domestic and international sales, operations and customer service.
Effective immediately, Koolaburra CFO Jeff Rawlings has added the role of chairman to his current title.
