Teva Opens in Sunshine State
Teva bowed its first Florida branded retail store last week at the Orlando Premium Outlets at Vineland Avenue. “Orlando has a consistent warm weather climate, a travel-savvy community and is home to one of the brand’s key tradeshows, Surf Expo,” said Teva marketing director Erika Brakken, in a statement. “As a brand born on the water, it’s a natural place for Teva to introduce a retail experience.” In addition to showcasing a complete selection of Teva footwear, the store will hold consumer events such as video screenings, outdoor excursions and workshops.

New Balance Grows Globally
Barcelona, Spain, marks the newest location for New Balance’s latest global experience store. The sports brand bowed a 4,000-sq.-ft. store on the city’s Rambla De Catalunya last month. The location takes inspiration from a stadium, track and arena. Designed by New Balance’s in-house team, the shop also features reclaimed materials from New Balance’s U.K. and U.S. factories, in order to play up the brand’s heritage in domestic manufacturing.
