The main floor features footwear from the Spanish fashion-comfort brand’s Maasai collection (a series of styles crafted by women from the African tribe), in addition to its core spring offering and companion bags. The lower level houses the Maasai Lab, a multimedia experience highlighting Maasai culture represented through sound, textiles and objects.
The store also has a “history corner,” where customers can take a breather or learn more about the company’s background and emphasis on craftsmanship.
Designed by Brooklyn-based firm Merry & Valenzuela, the Pikolinos pop-up features eco-friendly wood and sustainable materials.
The store will close on July 7.
