Jean Pool
Volley is getting the denim treatment. The Australia-based sneaker brand will unveil its first collaboration with fashion label Simon Miller for spring ’14. Constructed from Japanese indigo fabrics, the capsule collection of six shoes will have limited distribution at select high-end retailers, including Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys New York, Los Angeles-based Ron Herman and Mrporter.com. Retailing for $90, the shoes will deliver in January and February 2014.

On Holiday
Marvin K. will add a resort collection for 2014. Aquatalia Group’s 1-year-old fashion-focused line, a sister brand to the 24-year-old Aquatalia by Marvin K. label, is slated to debut sandals, flats and pumps at retail in November. The eight-style resort collection, featuring such details as lace, mesh and a toned-down take on metal studs, retails from $375 to $395. Marvin K. is carried by Nordstrom as well as Saksfifthavenue.com, Zappos.com and the brand’s e-commerce site. “Our retailers and customers are always looking for newness,” said Marvin Krasnow, Aquatalia Group’s founder, president and creative director. “So our strategy has been to slowly add more deliveries, and resort was a logical addition to the wholesale business.”
