The puzzle design was inspired by Buket Pamuk, who won Ugg’s Art & Sole design contest last season. The competition called for artists to express their creativity using the Ugg Classic boot as their canvas.
Artwork was submitted via social media. Ugg’s VP and creative director, Leah Larson, chose the winner from 900 submissions.
The boot, available in red and navy, went on sale at Uggaustralia.com/artandsole this week. It also will be available at Ugg stores in the U.S. from Dec. 15 through Jan. 6, 2013. And $10 from the sale of each pair will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs affected by Hurricane Sandy, and donations also will be accepted in stores as part of a company match program.
