Pitti Uomo Trend Report

Sporty influences, flexible constructions and unique materials will be key for the men’s luxury footwear market next season.

To capitalize on momentum in the segment, vendors unveiled a variety of looks at Pitti Uomo this week.

Church’s showcased its classic Shanghai style in nubuck and crocodile and introduced a colored camouflage sole on its sporty shoes, while Campanile used a supple leather treated with a long and complex process.

Santoni debuted shoes featuring an entirely natural latex sole that emphasizes flexibility. Trickers launched limited-edition, motorcycle-inspired boots available in a mono-color or a patchwork version.

And French label Paraboot brought trekking to the street, delivering boots with contrast fur linings. Blauer showcased motorcycled-inspired boots, while C.P. Company reworked a shoe used by miners in the 1930s.

Here is a look at these styles and more.
