The executive moves continue at Collective Brands Inc.
The Lexington, Mass.-based firm announced today that Kristin Kohler Burrows, president of its Keds division, will step down “to pursue career opportunities in New York.” She had been with the brand since 2008.
In a related move, Rick Blackshaw will step in, starting Jan. 24. Most recently, Blackshaw was at Converse Inc. in the Chuck Taylor All Star division, serving as VP and GM. He also has worked as the global marketing director at Avia Group and at The Timberland Co. in a management role.
Blackshaw will now report to Gregg Ribatt, president and CEO of Collective Brand’s performance and lifestyle division, who took over for Matt Rubel when he left the company last June.
“We are thrilled to have Rick join and lead the Keds team. His background and achievements in the footwear industry are impressive, including generating significant growth across multiple brands,” Ribatt said in a statement. “We look forward to his leadership and valuable contributions to our Keds brand as we drive market and product category expansion and share this iconic American brand with more and more consumers across the globe.”
