Birman said the appointment is part of the company’s plan to set up headquarters in New York.
“In order to provide sustainable growth and to expand our global distribution, we decided to structure our headquarters in New York and we gladly were introduced to Caden, who we are sure will be the perfect executive to run our brand globally,” the designer said in a statement.
Stobart previously worked for Alexander McQueen and Gucci Group. In her new position she will report to Birman.
“Alexandre Birman is an incredibly exciting brand and I am delighted to be joining … at this important time in the development. Alexandre’s use of materials is totally unique. He’s a huge talent, and I’m thrilled to be working alongside him,” said Stobart.
